WWE Hall Of Fame wrestler Rikishi debuted his 1st comic book "Kishi And The Island Of Dreams" at New York Comic-Con during the Summer of 2022. Rikishi was accompanied by the author of the book Eric "Cthree" McElroy, Jr. Their booth was sponsored by the good people at Heroes Hideout who also brought Hall of Famers “The GodFather” & Ron Simmions to the convention.
During the event, Comic-Con had a music invite-only party sponsored by Funko, hosted by DMC from the legendary RUN-DMC Trio. DMC was amazed with the comic book and gave a shoutout to Rikishi and AnimeHipHop on a job well done.
DMC is one of the pioneers of HipHop, making his name by highlighting the DJ and Rapper relationship. The Legacy spans to one of the greatest record executives in history Russell Simmions.
